Who we are

FootballIntel Ltd is the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. You can reach us at info@footballintel.uk.

[Registered company number, registered address and ICO registration number to be confirmed before launch.]

The data we collect

  • Parent account: name, email address and authentication details.
  • Billing: subscription status and payment records. Card details are processed by Stripe and never stored on our servers.
  • Child profiles: first name, age band and playing position only. We do not collect a child's surname, date of birth, email address or photograph.
  • Learning activity: lessons watched, quiz scores, match reflections, confidence check-ins and the development scores derived from them.
  • Technical data: basic, privacy respecting analytics to keep the service reliable. We do not use behavioural advertising trackers.

Children's data

Accounts are owned and managed by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over. Children never hold their own login and never provide an email address. We follow the ICO Age Appropriate Design Code, including high privacy defaults, data minimisation and no behavioural advertising. A child's written private reflection notes are kept private to them and are never exposed in parent facing reports.

Why we use your data and our lawful basis

  • To provide the service (performance of a contract): running your account, delivering lessons and showing progress.
  • To take payment (contract and legal obligation): managing your subscription and issuing VAT receipts.
  • To keep the service safe and reliable (legitimate interests): security, fraud prevention and basic analytics.
  • To send you updates (consent): the free taster sequence and optional newsletters, which you can leave at any time.

How long we keep it

We keep personal data for as long as your account is active and for a limited period afterwards to meet legal and accounting obligations. You can ask us to delete your account and its data at any time.

Sharing and processors

We use a small number of trusted processors to run the service: Supabase (database and authentication), Cloudflare Stream (video delivery), Stripe (payments) and Resend (email). Each processes data only on our instructions. We do not sell personal data.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@footballintel.uk. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Cookies

We use essential cookies only by default, for signing in and keeping the service secure. We do not set advertising or behavioural tracking cookies. See our cookie notice for detail.

This policy is a working draft and should be reviewed by a qualified data protection adviser before public launch.
